CK Animal Rescue helps local owner-surrendered dog and cats, take in abandoned cats and kittens and find them good homes.  Their purple leash program helps victims of domestic violence by providing 6 weeks free care . They also do classroom presentations on compassion for animals and what their rescue is all about. 

We feel they are an integral part of our community, and their caring and compassion reaches out to so many pets that might not otherwise be cared for.
